Stratford Library Sets Public Technology Workshops

STRATFORD, Conn. -- The Stratford Library continues its series of invaluable workshops designed to help adults learn about new technologies and applications currently on the market.

Technology Sandbox will include basic assistance dealing with the use of E-Readers, tablet computers, MP3 players, iPods and more. The Library’s professional staff will also help patrons who are interested in downloading free books, music and videos from the Library. 

The workshops are free and open to the public and available on a first-come, first-served basis on the following schedule: Monday, Jan. 4, 10 a.m.-noon; Thursday, Jan. 7, 2-4 p.m.; Thursday, Jan. 14, 10 a.m.-noon; Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2-4 p.m.; and Wednesday, Jan. 27, 5-7 p.m.
